Kara Burdack developed āśaya STUDIO to share her love and knowledge of moving, training and creating. Kara’s interest began with ballet as a child, which led her to complete her Bachelor of Dance at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne. Since graduating she worked with contemporary choreographers while teaching dance, yoga, barre, Pilates and fitness.

She is a passionate freelance teacher having taught in a variety of contexts nationally and internationally including Australia, Thailand, Mexico, South Africa, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. She is a certified Countertechnique Teacher, 525hr certified Yoga Instructor, Pilates mat and reformer instructor, and Barre Instructor.
